Vehicle / Train Extrication

An elderly driver was extricated from his vehicle by members of the B Shift this morning after his vehicle was struck by a Metro North Train and dragged approximately 75 feet. It took approximately 30 minutes to safely remove the patient from the vehicle, who was transported to Danbury Hospital. Multi Vehicle Extrication Closes Route 7

B-Shift Responds to Suspicious House Fire

At approximately 12:20 this morning a resident of Pumping Station Lane in Ridgefield called 911 to report that he could see a house on fire.
