| Close Call For Metro North Trains

At approximately 2200 hours on March 19 the Ridgefield Fire and Police departments responded to the area of the Branchville Train Station. Two Metro North trains traveling past each other on the Danbury branch line apparently grazed each other as they passed causing one train to derail from its track. There were no major injuries and Metro North Police are investigating.
