It is with deep regret that the Ridgefield Professional Firefighters announce the passing of Past Chief Richard McGlynn.  Chief McGlynn died peacefully at his home on October 7, 2009.  Chief McGlynn served the Town of Ridgefield in one capacity or another from 1955 until 1989, serving his last seventeen years of service as the Chief of the Ridgefield Fire Department.
