| Second Stair Climb Yields $780 for American Lung Association

On Saturday, March 27, 2010 members of the Ridgefield Professional Firefighters participated in a stair climb to raise money for the American Lung Association. This is the second stair climb that Local 1739 has participated in, following our November 2009 participation in the Stamford, CT climb.
The Ridgefield Team raised over $700 for the American Lung Association by climbing up the 686 steps of the Hartford 21 Building in Hartford, Connecticut. Over 550 individuals participated in this stair climb and raised over $100,000 for the cause.
Members of Local 1739 participating were Nicholas De'Angelo, Brett Rinehart, Rommie Duckworth, and Michael Trenck. Joining Local 1739 were two members of RVFD - Brandon Santini and Nicholas Pambianchi.
